August Guild Meeting

August's Golden Triangle Knitting Guild meeting will be held on Thursday, August 26 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm in room #204 of the First United Methodist Church, located at 200 Lampkin Road in Starkville. Amy Crumpton will teach the group how to do the provisional cast-on in preparation for the beaded knitting workshop. Susan Kuykendall and Jacque Deeds will also teach the group how to make easy knitted flowers. For the provisional cast on, bring worsted weight scrap yarn, an appropriate crochet hook (G or H), size 4 or 5 knitting needles and some scrap sock yarn. For the knitted flowers, bring some small knitting needles and scrap yarn. As always, newcomers are welcome!
