Personal note: I found it much easier to use a life line at end of each row repeat (row #17) and place a stitch marker between the pattern repeat which I carried up each row.
yo= yarn over
k2tog= knit two sts together
k3tog= knit three sts together
k3togtbl= knit 3 sts together through the back loop
sl= slip stitch from left needle to right needle (as if to knit)
sl2tog= pass 2 stitches from the left needle to the right needle at the same time
psso: pass slipped stitch over the stitch just knitted and off the right needle
p2sso: pass the two slipped stitches over the stitch just knitted and off the right needle
