June Guild Meeting

June Guild Meeting: Tools and Organization

What tool do you never leave home without? How do you keep everything organized in your knitting bag? What tool was the most surprisingly useful? Useless? This month we'll have a relaxed meeting, bringing our favorite tools to share with each other (and your favorite things for staying organized). We'll also hear reports from guild members who attended the Magnolia State Fiber Festival in Vicksburg last month (I can't wait to see the yummy stuff you brought back!). The June meeting will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 204 of the First United Methodist Church in Starkville.

What to bring to this month's meeting:
  • Your favorite knitting tool to show the group
  • Your favorite things that keep you organized
  • A project to work on during the meeting
  • Finished projects to show off and share!
  • A door prize if you won one last month!
Tuesday Night Knitting
Just as an FYI for the group, a small subset of the guild has been regularly meeting to knit together on Tuesday nights. Typically, this group meets around 5:30 p.m. at the cafe in the Barnes and Noble on the MSU campus. Unfortunately, Barnes and Noble has decided to close early during the summer which has forced the group to move to another location. The group has temporarily moved to Newk's, but is open to suggestions. Any ideas on a new place to knit? Send them my way! And feel free to join us!

Wishing everyone a great month!

Keep on knitting,
Emily
