to try some ruching? And pebble stitch! (I apologize for the delay in
sending this last clue! This will finish up your scarf!)
Pattern #7:
KEY:
KFB = knit in front and back of the stitch (creates one additional new stitch)
NOTE: Stitch count doubles on row 7, original stitch count is restored on row 13.
Row 1: (RS) Knit.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: Knit.
Row 4: Purl.
Row 5: Knit.
Row 6: Purl.
Row 7: KFB in each stitch, repeat to end. (stitch count doubles)
Row 8: Purl.
Row 9: Knit.
Row 10: Purl.
Row 11: Knit.
Row 12: Purl.
Row 13: K2tog, repeat to end. (stitch count back to 30).
Repeat these 13 rows 3 times.
Knit 6 rows.
Pattern #8:
NOTE: Do not count sts after Row 3; original stitch count is restored on Row 4)
Row 1: (RS) K3, k across to border, K3.
Row 2: K3, P across to border, K3
Row 3: K4 *K2tog, rep from * across to border, K4.
Row 4: K4, *K1 in horizontal bar before next stitch, rep from * across to border, K4.
Repeat these 4 rows for 6”.
Knit 6 rows.
